Today's
image is a
Julia set of the point where the positive X-axis crosses the eastern
extremity of the main bay of the (-Z)^(2.5)+C Mandeloid. A
kind
of East Valley lies at this point, though it is too small to be seen
without enlargement.
I named the image "No Iffs Ands or Butts". I refuse to admit
the
inspiration for the name. At least a full point of the rating
of
an 8 is due to the coloring, which I put almost an hour into.
The calculation time of 3-3/4 minutes borders on slowness.
Relief
may be found at one of the web sites however.
A mix of sun and clouds, with a temperature of 43F +6C and brisk winds
made today feel unpleasantly cool here at Fractal Central.
The
fractal cat enjoyed the periods when the sun was out, while the humans
tried to figure out why we cannot gain access to the FOTD-crosscan web
site web site.
The next FOTD will be posted soon. Until whenever, take care,
and
the environmentalists who protest against oil pipelines should be ready
to set an example and stop consuming the oil that makes the pipelines
necessary. If they are unwilling or unable to kick the oil
habit
themselves, they should remain silent and stop pushing for laws to
force others to comply with their own particular ideas.
