Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: 

Wow! Only four more days until the end of time.  Actually, if time really were to end in four days, I wonder what would come next.  Most likely, it would be a fractal.

And speaking of fractals, we have one today.  The indescribable parent fractal came about when I combined 7 negative parts of Z^(-1.9) with 1.5 negative parts of Z^(-9.1) and added (1/C) on each iteration.

This parent consists of three circular bays with a prominent minibrot lying some distance east of the main body.  Today's scene lies in a triangular open area connected with the East Valley of this minibrot.

The name "Four to Doomsday" indicates that the day of doom is growing near indeed.  The calculation time of 9-1/2 minutes will use up a portion of this time.  But saving time is where the web sites become most useful.

The heavy clouds and temperature of 50F 10C that prevailed here at Fractal central today was so routine that it left nothing to comment on.  The fractal cats had no comment either, though the humans were quite animated at lunch time as we heard the litany about the need for tougher gun laws being repeated for the ten-hundredth time on TV.  We want to hear more about the need to change the culture than the plans for another gun-control law that will do little or nothing to reduce violence.
