Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's image is named "Something is Up".  I gave it this name because it's a scene in the 'something' minibrot on the main stem of the backward-Mandelbrot parent fractal of February 16, three days ago.

This 'something' minibrot is apparently some kind of merging of several minibrots, something that happens often in fractals.  Today's scene is located in debris along the east shore line of the minibrot, in an area where stretched-out triangular bays abound.

The rating of a 6-1/2 shows that the image is a rushed one, in which I gave the coloring far too little effort.

The calculation time of just under 3 minutes will seem slow to those with other things to attend to.

Lots of sun and a few clouds prevailed here at Fractal Central today.  The temperature of 42F +6C was cooler than yesterday, but still mild for this time of year.  The fractal cats made the most of the sun, while deciding among themselves who will be the owner of the new lamp table FL and I picked up yesterday.  The humans made the most of the day, with little to do but watch the clouds drift by and plan for this year's garden.
