Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:  

Today's Z^(-4)+C near-Julia image carries the current theme to the limits.  I have double-rotated the orientation of today's slice 0.000001,0.0000001 degree from the true Julia orientation, which totally destroys the 4-way symmetry of recent images.  But the resulting image is still notable enough to rate an 8.  (A tiny rotation sometimes makes a huge difference in Julia images.)

The colors are mostly carried over from yesterday's image, with only a few registers being tweaked.  The calculation time of 45 seconds will pass fast, leaving little waste if the image lays an egg.  Here is where the web sites can make the viewing even easier.

After a very chilly morning low of +5F -15C, the brilliant sun raised the afternoon temperature to a comparatively pleasant freezing point.  The fractal cat spent the entire afternoon on the shelf in the southwest window, warming himself in the sun.  The humans had a routine day getting the work under control.

The next FOTD will be posted when I get a round tuit.  Until whenever, take care, and I heard a teacher on the local radio the other day claim that the present day children think differently than yesterday's children.  I had to agree totally.  Yesterday's children were not as helpless as today's lot.  They needed no computers to enable them to learn that 2+2=4, etc.  They did it all in their heads.  And for entertainment they went out, played with their friends and sometimes hurt themselves.  Then they came home and read books.

Our 'technologically advanced' culture sure is declining.  Let's solve the problem with more technology.
