Someone once told me that there is nothing to be found in fractals with
negative exponents of Z. Well, today I checked the Z^(-2)+C
fractal and found nothing. Today's image shows the nothing that I
found. The name "Nothing At All" confirms the nothingness.
Actually, the image is not a Mandeloid. It is rotated 30 degrees
toward the oblate direction, and has quite a bit of stretching and
skewing included. The 5-pointed, rounded star-like elements are
something entirely new in my experience.
It's hard to give a rating to nothing, but if something were there, it
would have rated a 7. Assuming something actually is there, I
rated the image at a 7 despite its blatantly feminine pastel-pink
appearance.
A muggy cloudy morning was followed by heavy midday rain and a pleasant
afternoon here at Fractal Central on Sunday, with lots of afternoon
sun, lower humidity and a temperature of 81F 27C. The fractal
cats slept through most of it. My day was lazy.
