Today's image shows what happens when an everyday Mandelbrot set is infested in its depths by Z^101 energies.  The parent M-set looks like your everyday, fractals-101, M-set, but this is only on the surface.  Today's image lies rather deep in a moth-eaten elephant trunk in East Valley of the large main-spike minibrot of its parent, where the quadratic and order-101 energies interact in most unusual ways.

The incredibly thin overlapping order-101 rings are arranged in a quadratic pattern, with interesting variations of both shape and thickness.  This math interest raises the math value to a very respectful 8, while the art value remains a questionable 6.

The name "The 101 Ways" has nothing to do with an old song.  (Are there any such things as new songs?)  It refers to the infecting power of Z.  The calculation time of 1-1/3 minutes will pass fast after the skeletal nature of the rings becomes apparent.  Visiting the web sites will let satisfaction come even faster.

Lots of clouds, occasional showers and a temperature of 84F 29C made today one to be forgotten here at Fractal Central.  The fractal cat did forget the day.  He forgot it before it began.  The fractal humans never remembered the day in the first place, so how could they forget it?
