Due to prior commitments, today's discussion will be brief.

The image shows a tiny cubic minibrot in the Seahorse Valley area of yesterday's half-and-half minibrot.  At this depth the math energies behind the minibrots are almost entirely cubical, yet quite different from the energies behind the minibrots in the Z^3+C Mandeloid.

The name "Three Cubic Blocks" refers to the three squared-off sections of the pattern around the minibrot.

The rating of a 7 indicates that I consider the image an improvement over yesterday's, but with plenty room remaining for further improvement.

The calculation time of 2-1/2 minutes will seem to fly by if you distract yourself with other things while the image is running.  Checking the FOTD web sites is a great distraction.

A sunny morning was followed by afternoon clouds here at Fractal Central today, while the temperature reached a spring-like 66F 19C.  The fractal cats enjoyed the mild weather from inside, complaining that the sun was obscured just as it was about to reach their window shelf.

FL reported for jury duty this morning but was not selected.  The rest of the day among the humans of FC passed uneventfully.  The next FOTD, an outrageously colorful one, will be posted in 24 hours.  Until then, take care, and don't be led astray by random comments at the close of the FOTD discussions, only some of which are meant to be taken seriously.
