Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: 

Since today's image is a simple and quite small outzoom from yesterday's image, I gave it no ratings.  But the ratings of yesterday's image certainly still apply.  The small outzoom reveals that yesterday's six-pointed star is emblazoned on a fractal shield with three well decorated arms extending from the shield.

The entire effect, with its dark purple background, speaks of heraldry, thus the name "Heraldry Shield".

The calculation time of 2-1/4 minutes is slower than the more impatient fractalists would prefer.  But instant satisfaction is always available on the web sites.

Mostly sunny skies and cold temperatures in the mid-20's or -3C made today feel just about right for the middle of December.  The fractal cats checked the outside conditions then got into a tussle.  The humans spent the day keeping busy, though we're not sure what the result of our effort was.
